Musical Theatre Workshops 2020 / 2021

COVID-19: MTW will adhere to all Federal, State and Local guidelines related to COVID-19. In the event of an order that would prevent in person classes from commencing, online classes will continue at the same schedule time using Zoom. All normal billing and withdrawal policies will remain the same.

Online drama classes may be forming.  Please stay tuned for more information!

January Off: The MTW season usually runs 9 months from Mid-August to Mid- May. The 2020/2021 season will be 8 months as follows:

  • Mid- August through Mid- December
  • January Off
  • February through May (all month)

MTW Location: MTW will be moving for the current location at the end of December. We are taking the month of January off, as time will be needed to fit the new location. (New location TBA)

DSP / PayPal: Effective August 1st, we will remove the 3% convenience fee from DSP for those who pay MTW online. Many local studios have stopped accepting in person payments via check or cash. We have not made this determination, yet, but may do so in the future. We hope removing this fee will encourage more families to make their payments online. Payments made online are automatically applied to your account, greatly reducing our administrative efforts, and eliminate most opportunities for error. If you have never paid online, we ask that you consider this option for the 2020/2021 season and welcome feedback at

Billing: Tuition is always due at the first class of the month, no matter what day it falls on.

  • No actor will begin classes in August until August Tuition is paid.
  • Thereafter, if tuition is not paid by the 8th of the month (2nd Class), there will be a $ 10 late fee added to your account.
  • If tuition is not paid by the 15th of the month (3rd Class), the actor will be suspended and unable to attend class until the balance is resolved.

Withdrawal Policy: If an actor needs to withdrawal from Musical Theatre Workshops, we do require a 30-day written notice and payment is expected for the duration of that period. Examples:

  • If an actor provides written notice of withdrawal on October 20th, tuition will be due for both October and November.
  • If an actor provides written notice of withdrawal on October 1st, tuition will be due only for the month of October. The actor can attend through their last paid month in either scenario.
