Step into a colorful world of imagination as Musical Theatre Workshops brings Seussical Jr. to the stage! Inspired by the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss, this delightful musical adventure brings many of his most famous characters to life in one whimsical and heartwarming show.
Guided by the mischievous Cat in the Hat, audiences travel from the Jungle of Nool to the tiny world of the Whos, where the kind-hearted Horton the Elephant discovers a speck of dust that contains an entire miniature community. Determined to protect the Whos, even when no one else believes they exist, Horton proves that “a person’s a person, no matter how small.” Along the way, Horton also finds himself responsible for guarding an abandoned egg left behind by the glamorous but unreliable Mayzie La Bird. With the help of the loyal Gertrude McFuzz and a cast of wonderfully wacky Seussian creatures, Horton faces ridicule, danger, and plenty of surprises while standing up for what he believes is right.
